These Caramel Apple Cider Floats are a simple, yet delicious, blend of fresh apple cider, sparkling cider, and ice cream topped with whipped topping and caramel sauce for a delicious fall treat.
Caramel is my jam. I mean, I could make the stuff every day and eat it accordingly since I figured out how to not ruin it. Of course, my waist probably wouldn’t like it. But, my taste buds would enjoy it, that’s for sure. It’s really the best, gooey treat a fall-obsessed girl could ask for. And blend it with apple? It’s divine, I tell you.
So, since I came across the idea of apple cider floats, I had to try them. And of course add caramel. Because what apple treat is complete without it? These are super simple to make. Your kids could make them and they’re a great fall dessert.
I had no idea a float could be so good. We don’t do a ton of soda here, so root beer floats and the like are a minimum. But these? Oh, we could drink these all day every day without getting tired of them. Root beer floats are well beneath the deliciousness that these caramel apple cider floats possess. I promise.
The best time of year to make these is almost upon us. Fresh apple cider from the local orchard is the absolute best thing to add to these. That stuff from the store that they carry year round? It’s sub par in its flavor abilities. Fresh, delicious, local cider is best. So, stock up when this stuff is in abundance and make them. Daily.
They’re well worth the calorie fest. And we pretend say they’re healthy because they don’t have soda in them. Shhhh…. I won’t tell the kids if you don’t.
And who doesn’t love ice cream, apples, and caramel? I mean, it’s the perfect combination of all things good in life. You have to, I mean have to give these a try. You’ll be so glad you did.
